The Student Government is hoping to help establish some items of Yale-NUS pride (such as college mascots, crests and regalia). As such, the government is running a competition which will allow students to submit their ideas for items of Yale-NUS pride. Submissions will close on October 9. There will then be a one week period during which the government will work with the administration and the Yale-NUS designers to select the top suggestions. These suggestions will then be put to an online vote, to determine the winner. The winners will then be presented to the administration, by the Student Government.
