Sabrina (she/her) | Class of 2025 | Elm College
Sabrina is a freshie debating between PPE or GA as a major, but is definitely minoring in Anthropology. She first served as the interim Director of Academics before being elected for the role of Internal Secretary, and joined StuGov to help her community to the best of her ability. In her spare time, she can usually be found enjoying conversations, nursing an iced matcha oat milk latte, or getting lost writing out the fictional worlds in her head.

Having seen how student-led communities contribute so uniquely to educational experiences during her polytechnic days, Jia Wen joined StuGov as the Director of StuOrgs as she wanted to be part of that again! She loves plants, pretty rocks, and anything The 1975 or Lil Uzi Vert.

Zahra has grown up in the U.K., Pakistan and Kenya. As a first year student, her intended major at Yale-NUS is physical sciences. Her hobbies include learning different sign languages and train hopping! As a member of StuGov, she hopes to collaborate with the team to preserve the university’s spirit. In her role as the Director of Academics, she aspires to address student concerns and promote an inclusive learning environment.

Stefan is the Director of Athletics. He joined Yale-NUS Student Government because he sincerely cares about YNC Athletics Post-Merger, and is a Basketball fanatic on the YNC basketball team. He loves being part of YNC sports and hopes to ensure YNC’s amazing sports culture continues despite the merger. Ming Cheng is a prospective Economics major at Yale-NUS. In his free time, he enjoys the occasional book, as well as dancing. Virginia Woolf once said that “One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.”, and so he hopes to see everyone functioning well in his term.
